Rattler Family, get ready to step up to the plate, Magazine! 🥎💥Here's a reminder that the Lady Rattler Softball Youth Camp is Friday (June 5) and you do not want your young athlete to miss out on this incredible opportunity! This is the perfect chance for 1st through 6th graders to LEARN, PLAY, and COMPETE while learning from the absolute best -- our new Lady Rattler softball head coach, Jadyn Hart, along with our very own Lady Rattler players! They are ready to bring the energy, share top-tier instruction and build that unmistakable Rattler Pride! 🐍❤️🖤Here is everything you need to know to get game-day ready.
📅 CAMP DETAILS
WHEN: Friday, June 5th | 🕘 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. (Registration kicks off early at 8:15 a.m.!)
WHERE: Magazine Softball Complex 📍
WHO: Future softball stars in Grades 1st through 6th 🎒
COST: $30 per camper (Includes a sack lunch at the conclusion of camp! 🥪)
Family Discount: Have multiple ballplayers in the house? Take $5 off per player!
💳 REGISTRATION & PAYMENT
Payment will be due right at registration on the morning of the camp. Cash or Check are accepted. Please make all checks payable to: Magazine Softball

Rattler Family, if your daughter will be playing or would like to play junior high or high school volleyball (Grades 7-12) this coming fall, there will be a parent/player meeting at 5:30 p.m. on Friday (June 5) at Diamondback Arena. Rattler Family, here's a reminder about the launch of the Magazine Community Summer Blessing Box! 🥳 This summer, we are teaming up to tackle childhood hunger and keep our community's kids fueled, focused and ready to succeed! Thanks to the incredible 200K More Reasons Grant from the United Methodist Church Foundation, the Magazine Wellness Center and Magazine Schools are joining forces for an amazing summer initiative. But wait... it gets even better! 🌟 By combining this support with grants and contributions from the Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots, Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Literacy Program and Goodwill Industries of Arkansas s, we are packing this initiative with double the power: 🍎 Nutritious Food to keep bellies full. 📚 Books to keep minds sharp and imagination flowing!📍 Where to Find It? We will be fully stocking the Blessing Box located at Magazine's Hank Stone City Park all summer long! Rattler Family, with summer right around the corner, Magazine Schools is making sure its kids stay healthy and fed while school is out! No sign-ups or applications are necessary—just show up and enjoy. Please note that because of a shipment delay, boxed meals for the week of June 1 will be available on Tuesday (June 2) instead of Monday (June 1), but the cafeteria dine-in option remains the same. Again this is for only the week of June 1.

📅 Program Details
Dates: June 1 – July 10, 2026
Eligibility: FREE for all children age 18 or younger
Location: Magazine High School
🍽️ How to Get Meals
Magazine Schools
Dine-In: Monday – Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Pick-Up: Mondays, 10 – 11 a.m. at the High School Cafeteria; Mondays 12-12:30 p.m. at Arkota parking lot (NO meals will be handed out from Arkota staff or provided from them for free.)
Western Yell County Schools
Pick-Up: Mondays, 10-10:30 a.m. at WYC High School next to the gym; Mondays, 10:45-11:15 a.m. at the WYC Elementary School in the circle drive
