🚨 EXCITING NEWS FOR MADISONVILLE FIRE-RESCUE! 🚨
It’s been a HOT and busy week for Madisonville Fire-Rescue! 🔥☀️ Our firefighters have been working hard responding to calls and serving our community through the summer heat.
We’re also excited to announce that Madisonville Fire-Rescue has been awarded a $64,500 VFEAT Grant through the Tennessee Department of Commerce & Insurance!
The grant funding will be used to purchase a new SCBA fill station, an important investment in firefighter safety and operational readiness. The new fill station will allow our department to safely and efficiently refill the air cylinders our firefighters rely on when operating in hazardous and immediately dangerous to life or health environments.
We sincerely appreciate the Tennessee Department of Commerce & Insurance for its continued support and investment in Tennessee’s fire service and for making funding opportunities like the VFEAT Grant possible.
We also want to recognize the men and women of Madisonville Fire-Rescue for their hard work and dedication. It has been an especially busy and extremely hot week, and our personnel have continued to answer the call and serve our community when needed.
This $64,500 grant will help us better protect those who protect our community.

Starting 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟑, we're launching 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐡 at Madisonville Fire Department Station 1.

Firehouse Church is a place for 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐟𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐬 to come together in a familiar setting for worship, encouragement, and a message from God's Word.

Whether you already have a church home, haven't been to church in years, or have never really felt comfortable in church, 𝐲𝐨𝐮'𝐫𝐞 𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞.

We'll keep it simple:𝟑𝟎-𝟒𝟎 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐬, a little singing, a message from God's Word, and time together with people who understand the first responder life.

⚠️Car seat RECALL by Evenflo⚠️

Please check the article below for which car seats are affected. We want to make sure all the babies are safe!

Evenflo has issued a recall of some car seats after a safety test revealed the seats failed to comply with federal requirements.

Weather Update – Madisonville Fire Department

We are actively monitoring the weather and staying in close contact with the National Weather Service.

At this time, the warned storms are located northwest of Madisonville. There is currently no threat to the City of Madisonville.

We encourage everyone to remain weather aware, as conditions can change quickly. We will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates if needed.

🎇Who all is ready for some fireworks?!?!?!🎆
We are up here with the Pyro Crew making sure everything is set, ready to go, and safe!!!! We are looking at a 9:40-9:45 start if all goes well!! Stay tuned!

Also, we ask that you please DO NOT try to come near the flag area! We've already had to ask multiple people to leave due to safety reasons.

Our department along with most of the county departments participate in the "Get Alarmed, Tennessee!" program. Make sure you have that first line of defense and contact your local department!

On , make sure Dad (and all family members) have working smoke alarms! Working smoke alarms work faster than the fastest fire truck, giving you and your loved ones precious seconds to escape the deadly smoke from a home fire. Need working smoke alarms?
