🚨Application Deadline Extended for Advisory Committee Applications

The deadline to submit applications for City of Madisonville Advisory Committees has been extended to Wednesday, September 16th by end of day. We are still needing a few more people, so please get those applications in!

What an incredible day for Madisonville! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️🐾

On Saturday, September 5th, we hosted our very first City of Madisonville 5K, and we are so excited to say it was a success! We had 46 runners show up bright and early to hit the trail and support a great cause.

It was an awesome morning filled with community, encouragement, and support. Seeing everyone come together—whether seasoned runners or taking on their very first 5K—made this event even more special.

We ended the evening with our 1-Mile Pet Walk/Run, and what a fun way to wrap up the day! 🐶❤️ We loved seeing everyone's sweet fur babies and getting to enjoy the camaraderie and fellowship that make our community so special.

Most importantly, everyone who participated helped support our goal of bringing a new outdoor fitness court to Lake Madison Park. Every registration and every show of support gets us one step closer!

A very special THANK YOU to our Lake Madison Park workers for all of their hard work getting everything ready, maintaining our beautiful park and trail, and helping make sure the event ran smoothly. We also want to give a huge thank you to Lazy 8 Flight School for sponsoring our first 5K and helping make this event possible! And, of course, thank you to all of our wonderful volunteers who gave their time and jumped in wherever they were needed. Events like this truly take a team, and we are so grateful for each of you! 💙

And finally, thank you, Madisonville! We truly have the BEST community. Thank you to everyone who showed up, participated, cheered others on, brought out their four-legged friends, and supported our vision for more health and fitness opportunities in our community.

We can't wait to continue this as an annual Madisonville tradition and grow and improve it with each passing year.

Year one is officially in the books—and we're just getting started! 👏🏃‍♀️🐾
