Habitat for Humanity Pennyrile Region is proud to congratulate Heath Duncan on his appointment as the new Executive Director of Kentucky Habitat for Humanity, effective May 15, 2026.

While we are excited to see Heath continue serving families and communities across the Commonwealth in this new role, we also want to take a moment to recognize and thank him for nearly 20 years of dedicated leadership and service to Pennyrile Habitat and the communities we serve.

Since becoming Executive Director in 2007, Heath helped transform Pennyrile Habitat from a single-county affiliate into a regional organization serving multiple counties across Western Kentucky. Under his leadership, the affiliate expanded its impact through affordable home construction, strategic partnerships, community development efforts, and collaborative relationships with local governments, corporate donors, volunteers, and community organizations.

Throughout his time with Pennyrile Habitat, Heath remained deeply committed to Habitat’s mission of building strength, stability, and self-reliance through affordable homeownership. His leadership extended beyond the local level through statewide advocacy work, service with Kentucky Habitat for Humanity, and national leadership roles with Habitat for Humanity International focused on affiliate support and board governance.

Heath’s impact on our organization and our region will be felt for many years to come. Please join us in thanking Heath for his years of dedication, leadership, and service, and in wishing him continued success in this exciting next chapter.
