Salvation Army of Dane County - Food Pantry

The Salvation Army Food Pantry, located at 3030 Darbo Drive, is open to families and individuals who are residents of Dane County. The amount of non-perishable food each household takes home is determined by family size and is supplemented by additional choices of meat, pastries, bread, and produce. We believe that all adults deserve the dignity of choosing what foods they want for themselves and

their families. Customers may “shop” the pantry once in a 30-day period.
**NOTE: Photo ID is required for all household members. ID's can include driver's license, identification card, Forward card, Social Security Card, as well as a Proof of Residence, such as an electric/MG&E bill, medical bill, cable bill, etc. Donations: We feed about 125 families per week and depend on cash and in-kind donations from the community. Our stock of meat, groceries, household, and personal items has about a one-week rotation. Cash donations are especially welcome, as we are able to purchase items at a discounted rate. We also welcome your generous donations of the following items:

Foods: Canned proteins such as tuna or chicken, canned pasta meals with meat, canned fruit, canned vegetables, canned soups, canned pasta sauces, meat expanders such as Hamburger Helper or Tuna Helper, pasta, boxed cereals, etc. Personal Items: Laundry detergent; soap; toothpaste and toothbrushes; lotions; paper products including toilet paper, facial tissue, paper towels; diapers and baby wipes; shampoo & conditioner; feminine hygiene products; and household cleaning supplies.
