Our camp waitlist is now open! Camper slots for Boone County 4-H Camp 2026 have been filled!‼️🍀
Sign-ups for the waitlist will also be through ZSuite and will ask the same questions as the other registration form. In the event of a camper cancellation, those on the waitlist will be contacted via the information provided in the waitlist registration form, in a first come first served basis, based upon on submission date.

Spots for camp are filling up fast!
‼️REMINDER: Creating a ZSuite account does NOT register your youth for 4-H Camp!
- After creating an account you can either search for ' Boone County 4-H Camp 2026' under the events tab or follow the link provided in our original camp post. Then you will complete the camper registration form. This form secures your campers spot.
- You do not need an account to sign up for camp, you will just need to make sure you choose the correct link for external registrations. Please see the post below for more details and if you have any questions, please call us at (304) 369-5869 or email [email protected]

Registration is now open for Boone County 4-H Camp, which will be held June 14-19 at Greenbrier County Youth Camp.
Camp is open to all youth ages 9 (or will turn 9 by June 30) to age 21. (NOTE: All campers aged 18-21 will have to complete a background check and training before attending.)
Campers will be able to participate in many exciting, hands-on activities throughout the week, such as swimming, shooting sports (archery, air rifle, air pistol, shotgun), fishing, crafts, ziplining, floating in the river, STEM, and more.
The cost for the camp is $100. Those who qualify for free/reduced lunch based on income guidelines are eligible for a discounted fee of $50. We have financial assistance scholarships available for those with need.
We have limited spots this year, so be sure to sign up quick! We will also have a waitlist released once spots fill up.
There are two options to register for camp:

-If you have a ZSuite account (or would like to create one), go to 4h.zsuite.org, log in/create an account, create/update your enrollment for the current year, go to the "Events" tab, search "Boone County 4-H Camp 2026," and register. Sign-ups for State 4-H Camps are opening today! 🍀✨

Be sure to check out these wonderful opportunities for your youth and help us reach our goal of having a camper from all 55 counties at State 4-H Camp!

We’re challenging every county in West Virginia to send at least ONE camper to State 4-H Camp this summer!

Public Notice - Boone County Extension Service Committee will meet on Monday, February 23rd at 5:30pm at the Boone County Extension Office and via zoom.

The purpose of this meeting is to review and approve the annual budget and personnel documents for WVU Extension in Boone County. There will also be programmatic updates. This meeting is open to the public.

State Dance Weekend registration is open!

2026 WV 4-H Dance Weekend is LIVE on ZSuite! 💃🍀
While attending WV 4-H Dance Weekend, youth spend the weekend learning new dances and mastering their favorites! 🕺

Workshops include beloved classic options such as Square and Line Dance, as well as some new and exciting additions such as Appalachian heritage sessions!

This weekend is great for new and experienced dancers to come together and carry on the traditions of 4-H Dance Weekend! 🙌
