Asian American Student Union is an organization that focuses on uniting the APIA (Asian/Pacific Islander American) community while providing a space for discussion and support. In addition to workshops and discussions, AASU holds social events to endorse community and networking among the students, staff and faculty. With the academic and social platform we provide, AASU holds workshops concerning

past and present issues within the Asian American community, social gatherings for networking, and general body meetings to establish membership and commitment.

Get excited for our collab with .uw on Monday, April 25th at the MSC Lounge!!! Come learn about Pacific Islander history and culture as told through the PISA board! We will also have a special Kahoot with prizes to test your knowledge 🤓 And if that wasn’t already enough to entice you, we will also be having free boba and snacks for attendees 😏

With the semester coming to an end, our second to last weekly challenge is Creative Week! Find time to destress and get creative with your fam! Feel free to create anything you would like (ex: art pieces, videos, dance, creative writing etc.)

2022-2023 Executive Board applications are open! If you’re looking to get more involved in AASU and gain leadership experience, then apply today! Access the application using the link in our Instagram bio or through https://forms.gle/ok7qtGso8HmJGZ246

The application consists of a series of short answer questions as well as a 2-5 minute recorded speech. Following the application due date, we will email applicants with interview information. Interviews are expected to occur between April 21st - April 24th.

Applications close Sunday, April 17th at 11:59 pm!

Join us for a spooooky movie night at Humanities 1641 to watch Gonjiam… Briefly, Gonjiam (2018) follows a horror web series crew in an abandoned asylum. We will have snacks and drinks at the movie night, but bring your own blanket if you need something to hide behind during the scary parts!!! 😰
