Touch-A-Truck! Summer Reading Kick-Off 10am- Noon Legacy Park, Vaughn Drive

Touch-A-Truck is the library's Kick-off event for Summer Reading: Unearth A Story! Various vehicles will be on display. See an ambulance, firetrucks, tractors and more. There will be free Kona Ice thanks to the Friends of the Library. All ages welcome. No registration necessary. In case of rain there will be a brief picture scavenger hunt at the library. “Koo Koo Kanga Roo” may have sung it first, but Mrs. Hudnall ’s second grade class does a fantastic job performing "POP-SEE-KO” — also known as the Popsicle Song! 🍭🎶😄 Their energy, smiles, and silly dance moves had everyone laughing and singing along. What a fun way to celebrate the end of the school year!

Fabulous opportunity!

🎣 Sign-ups are now OPEN for Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office “Fishing with a Deputy” Community Event!

Registration forms are available for pickup now at the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.

This exciting event is open to children ages 8–14 years old.

Parents/guardians will drop off at Krueger Lake at 10:00 AM and pick up at the same location at 2:00 PM. All participants must be signed in and out of the event.

Lunch, drinks, and all fishing gear will be provided!

Spots are limited, so be sure to stop by the Sheriff’s Office soon to pick up your registration form. We look forward to a fun-filled day of fishing, learning, and community connection!

It’s not every day you see a beautiful limo 🚘✨ parked out front of the school in the pickup line! However, this has become a fun last day of school tradition at Rykers' Ridge Elementary thanks to Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre. Each year, they generously donate a limo ride to our school fundraising auction 🎟️💚. We truly appreciate their continued support!

The students loved seeing Gage Hartman all dressed up 🤵🚖 and ready to es**rt a few of their friends home in style on the final day of school! 🎉☀️📚
