We disagreed with Charlie Kirk on numerous issues, but we shared one core value: the right to free speech. That principle is foundational to democracy. We cannot move forward as a nation by killing people with whom we disagree. As a neighborhood action team, we build bridges through open dialogue at canvass launches and community events. We find common values and hold deep respect for all members of the Madison community as human beings even when we disagree politically. We condemn the shooting of Charlie Kirk and send our condolences to his family.

As a state representative, she fought for reproductive freedoms, commonsense gun laws, and protections for labor unions. As a judge on the District IV Court of Appeals, she has safeguarded vulnerable children’s access to county services, defended tenants against predatory lease agreements, and guaranteed due process for minors facing coercive interrogation tactics. Judge Taylor is the right choice for Wisconsin!

This is what today’s Republican Party stands for. There’s no nuance to it. The GOP has sacrificed whatever was left of its party values to protect a pe*****le. It really is that simple. It really is that gross. It really is time to elect every single one of them out of office. Spread the message to the people in your life who still don’t see it. They need to hear it.
