The Property Appraiser of Madison County is charged with placing a fair and equitable market value on every parcel of property both real estate and tangible in our county. Other responsibilities of the Property Appraiser include the administration of exemptions (homestead, widows, widowers, blind, disability and total exemptions), maintenance of property ownership records, and maintaining aerial p

PLEASE UPDATE YOUR MAILING ADDRESS!

We have already received a large number of Proposed Property Tax Notices back due to incorrect or outdated mailing addresses.

If your mailing address has changed, please contact our office and update it with us as soon as possible.

When these notices are returned, our office has to research the correct address and pay additional postage to mail them again. That additional cost is paid with taxpayer dollars and can easily be avoided by keeping your mailing address current.

If you have moved, changed your mailing address, or did not receive your Proposed Property Tax Notice this year, please reach out to our office.

Help us keep our records current and avoid unnecessary mailing costs. A quick address update can save both time and taxpayer dollars.
