This is from Doris..Everyone stay aware and becareful!
Soooo... Last night around 12:45ish I was coming home. After I turned into park hill, I noticed a suv parked by the curb of the right side of the street. It was about about 4 houses from the entrance. The parking brakes were on, so I knew someone was in the vehicle. After I passed, about two houses down, the headlights came on. The vehicle was coming down the street. I assumed they were just going to turn around by driving down and around the Cul-de-sac (Why? I had no clue).
As I got close to my house, I opened my garage and was able to pull straight in... I noticed the vehicle about to pass my house. Instead of passing, it pulled into my driveway! I hit the garage button as soon as it turned. The car pulled ALL the way to my garage door. The door was about knee high when the car came to a stop. I was freaking out thinking someone was going to jump out and put their foot under to stop it from closing.
I didn't know what to do. (YES, I now know I should have called 911, instead I had a mini panic attack.)
This has been on my mind all day. Who does that?!?!? I have never been afraid in this neighborhood!! Last night, really freaked me out. I just thought I should share in case this happens to someone else. I assure you, next time I WILL call 911.
A few weeks back... My neighbor across the street told me she called 911 on some teens (?) who rang her doorbell and ran across the street to my fence door. She got the superduper flashlight and they jumped my fence and neighbors and took off running. I had no clue someone was in my backyard.
I don't think these incidences have anything to do with one another... Just want you to be aware!
