Here is another opportunity for folks to bring their questions and concerns regarding data center construction in Mount Pleasant to Microsoft.

The community open house will occur on June 23 from 5:15 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Fountain Banquet Hall, 8505 Durand Ave. in Sturtevant.

Microsoft is hosting another community open house, this one on June 23, 2026, to continue answering questions from area residents about its data center campus

Everyone should be able to attend a great school, to get a job that supports their family, and to retire with dignity. Everyone should feel safe and welcome here without having to worry about losing their fundamental rights and freedoms.

Government can be a force for good in our lives, but we have to make it so. I am grateful to be in this work with all of you, and I thank you for doing your part to build the kind of community we will be proud to leave for the next generation.

Hudson and I are excited to share that our baby girl Ingrid has arrived! We are all doing great and are so happy to be able to spend the summer with our little girl here in Racine. Our only disappointment is that we can't teach her to swim in Lake Michigan just yet...

Happy (early) Juneteenth, Racine! It was great to see so many people at the parade to commemorate the end of slavery in this country and to celebrate freedom.

Despite serving in the minority party in the legislature, I work to take advantage of every opportunity to get things done for the people of Racine County, because that is what you deserve.

I am proud to have helped secure funding to clean up our drinking water and pass bills to support women’s health this session.

These policies are very important and will make a real difference in people’s lives. But I know they aren’t enough, and we have a lot of work left to do. As your representative, I will continue to show up each day to fight for every person to have the opportunity to live a good life here in Racine County.

I am proud to have helped secure $40 million in funding for the City of Racine to replace every single lead service line at no cost to residents. Like many households, my drinking water runs through lead pipes, and with my first daughter on the way, I know how urgent replacing these pipes is.

An estimated 10,000 lead pipes are set to be replaced over five years. Not only will this project help ensure clean drinking water, but it will also create good jobs. This is a major win for our community!

I was honored to join the Memorial Day ceremonies in Mt. Pleasant and Racine to remember those who have made the ultimate sacrifice to protect our rights and freedoms.

And I always enjoy seeing friendly faces like Shawn Rivers, Racine County’s Veterans Officer, and our local electeds at our annual Memorial Day events.
