Thank you to our first two businesses to commit to the Santa Express which rewards holiday shopping at Madison businesses with Madison Money to spend at Auction! Gina Diamond's Flower Co. will provide a beautiful moss bowl as her auction prize. LIVE Hydration Spa Madison will give the high bidder the choice of one of their premium IV bags valued at $250: Multivitamin Plus, Anti-Aging, Performance Elite, Cold & Flu, Weight Loss, Skin & Collagen Boost, Anxiety Relief & Calm, Energy & Clarity, Healthy Gut Support, Muscle Tension Relief, or MTHFR. These businesses join Mayor Mary Hawkins Butler who is donating a beautiful antique for the auction.

Residents are invited to shop locally from November 1 – December 31 at participating Madison businesses, save their receipts in special envelopes, and turn their holiday receipts into Madison Money at Auction on January 9, 2027.

To put your business on the Santa Express and receive recognition in social media, advertising, on the receipt envelope, and at the auction, complete the form at https://madisonthecity.com/shop/. Participants must agree to place provided poster and fliers in your store, distribute provided receipt envelopes, and donate an auction item valued at $100 or more. You must complete the form by October 1.

The date this year for National Night Out is Tuesday, October 6, 2026 from 6PM-9PM.
National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, and more caring places to live.

National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.

We're just one month away from friendly Scarecrows visiting Madison the City! We are encouraging businesses, churches, schools, neighborhoods, and organizations to decorate with a non-scary scarecrow theme. Trophies for each category will be awarded at 5:00 pm on October 10 at the Business Network office after the Scarecrow Stroll and Tailgate Showdown cooking competition.
