Do you know a teenager who loves animals? Our summer Teen Program gives teens ages 14-17 the chance to spend the summer at Henry Vilas Zoo!

Each week the program will focus on a different conservation theme, guided by guest speakers from local conservation organizations. Teens will participate in animal encounters, hands-on projects, creative storytelling, and collaborative advocacy work, gaining skills that build confidence, leadership, and career awareness. Unlike camps or single-day programs, the Teen Program offers sustained, small group learning that encourages deeper connections, creativity, and real impact. This program is perfect for teens who are curious, creative, and passionate about animals, conservation, or future careers in science and environmental fields.

Applications are being accepted now through March 1 and we have two info sessions coming up for anyone who would like to hear more about this program.
