Last Friday night, the North Madison Volunteer Fire Company held our 2026 Installation Dinner, bringing together members, families, and supporters to celebrate another year of service.

We recognized our new leadership, honored Years of Service milestones, and celebrated our Response Award recipients, including our Top Responder and those who consistently answered the call. We also highlighted members who went above and beyond through advanced training and certifications, strengthening our department for the future.

We took the opportunity to thank our past leadership for their dedication and service. Past Fire Chief Mike Penders, Past President Paul Harris, and former Chair of the Stewards Committee Ed Delmonte.

A special congratulations to Edwin Ed Wolff, recipient of the John Brady Spirit of the Company Award, our company’s most prestigious recognition, for his continued dedication and leadership.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and continues to support NMVFC. Proud of our team and ready for the year ahead.

We are incredibly grateful to share a special act of generosity with our community.

Recently, the North Madison Volunteer Fire Company received a vintage fire helmet that was spotted on eBay by a gentleman who recognized its connection to our department. Without hesitation, he purchased the helmet and generously donated it back to us so it could return home where it belongs.

Artifacts like this are an important part of our history, and thanks to his kindness, this piece will now be preserved and appreciated for years to come.

On behalf of all our members, thank you to Richard Twomey from East Brunswick, NJ for your thoughtful donation and support of our department’s history. It truly means a great deal to us.

With the recent dry weather, NMVFC crews have been training on brush fire operations and exercising equipment to stay ready for the dry season. 🚒🌲

This is also a reminder that open burning in Madison requires a permit through the Town of Madison Fire Marshal’s Office, and fire danger conditions can change quickly this time of year. Please use caution with any outdoor burning or activities that could spark a fire.
