Madison Elementary School in Alabama Madison Elementary Mission: "One Team, One Dream-Every Child Succeeds" Madison Elementary is located in the historic district of the city of Madison.

The original structure was erected in 1936 on the previous site of Madison Training School. It has been upgraded to its present state over subsequent years. During the summer of 1999 the main campus underwent extensive renovations. A new media center and gym were completed in 2001.

It was a Big Ole Day at Madison Elementary School! Author and songwriter, Carter Hamric captivated our students with stories about how he became inspired to write his first book- Big Ole Day at The Beach. We laughed, we created and we sang at the top of our lungs. We all knew the words because Big Ole Day at The Beach is the winner of our 2026 Madison City School's March Book Madness competition.
