A Floral Arrangement Make & Take Event to Celebrate Mom

Join us for a heartwarming, hands-on experience just in time for Mother’s Day! The Morgan County Extension invites you to a special floral design class on Saturday, May 9th from 10:00–11:30 AM, led by guest instructor Erin Pringle from the Morgan County High School FFA Floral Design program.

💐 Create a beautiful floral arrangement
💐 Learn basic floral design techniques
💐 Work together in pairs for a fun, shared experience
💐 Take home your own handcrafted arrangement

Participants will sign up in pairs and work together to design and create one arrangement—perfect for making meaningful memories while learning something new. Children are welcome but must be paired with an adult.

Celebrating International Year of the Woman Farmer with Morgan County’s own Carol Williams!

Morgan Co. Extension and 4-H is accepting donations for needed items for first responders who are working in South Georgia to help control the wildfires. Specific needs include Visine eye drops, Chapstick and Gatorade. Other items that will be beneficial include bottled water, electrolyte drink mix, baby wipes, individually wrapped snacks, sunscreen, socks and foot powder.

Donation can be dropped off Monday-Wednesday of this week (April 27-29) at the Morgan Co Extension office at 440 Hancock Street in Madison between 8am-noon and 1-5pm.
