Took a short walk in UW Lakeshore Nature Preserve on Friday and heard and saw SO MANY birds!
Just a reminder that we have birding backpacks available for checkout on the Bookmobile! Each backpack has two sets of binoculars, field guides, and a guide to nearby parks.

Wisconsin became a state on May 29, 1848.
To celebrate the birth month of our fave state, we've got books about Wisconsin and by Wisconsin authors on the feature shelf.

At Henry Vilas Zoo this morning. A group of middle school kids came through (no school today) and one said, "It's giving Matilda" and that is the best description of the Bookmobile I've heard in a long time!

A couple issues we've heard about from users:

𝗧𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗖𝗮𝘁?
You'll need your card number and 4-difit PIN.
Note that all PINs were set to birth month and date. If your birthday were July 4, for example, your PIN would be 0704. (You can reset your PIN to anything you'd like under My Account after you log in.)

𝗡𝗼𝘁 𝘀𝗲𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗺𝘀?
The New This Week list is kind of lean these days as libraries have not had the ability to place orders or link new items during migration. More items should be showing up there soon!
