The Epilepsy Foundation Heart of Wisconsin offers the Wisconsin Youth Council on Epilepsy in order to build epilepsy awareness among young adults throughout Wisconsin. In doing so, we hope to make available resources on education, employment and independent living while also reducing the stimgas and myths often associated with epilepsy, which affects nearly 2% of the population.

UCB's Family Epilepsy Scholarship Program is currently accepting applicants. The program assists people living with epilepsy, their family members, and caregivers who are pursuing higher education. In 2018, 30 applicants will receive a $5,000 scholarship and 2 will receive the Epilepsy Leadership Scholarship, which is worth up to $10,000.

Apply by March 5, 2018.
