I was proud to sign this letter with my Republican colleagues urging Governor Tony Evers to immediately reconsider his new commutation process.

Many Wisconsinites are stunned that convicted cop killers like Ted Oswald — who murdered Waukesha Police Captain James Lutz — are even being considered.

We must stand strong with our law enforcement heroes and put victims first. Public safety demands it.
