MOSES Madison MOSES helps congregations, and individual's to take the next step, from direct service to transformative justice. WHAT IS MOSES? MOSES works for a better future.

Rather than simply providing assistance, we form a community MOSES is an interfaith organization that unites congregations to build a better community. We join together to take action on issues of social justice, such as over-incarceration in Wisconsin. MOSES is part of a powerful statewide organization called WISDOM. And WISDOM has more than 125 member congregations in ten local organizations acr

oss Wisconsin. Each local organization is autonomous, but we work together on matters of common concern, like the “11X15” Campaign. MOSES builds community: In our increasingly fragmented society, we reach across dividing lines to build community. MOSES promotes leadership skills and attitudes that help us to know each other better, within our congregations, and among diverse peoples, and take effective action together. MOSES unites people of faith to have a powerful voice in our local community, our region, and beyond. MOSES has already had a significant impact in Dane County, especially in areas related to criminal justice.
