This year, we’re excited to highlight some of the amazing learning happening in classrooms across Neck River!

We’re kicking things off with first grade, where students have been building their problem-solving skills through puzzles, tangrams, and other challenging tasks. By trying different strategies, working together, and sticking with it when things get tricky, they’re learning that a little productive struggle can lead to BIG learning!

When we asked Mrs. Engelhardt to think up some ideas for a new mural, we were not expecting this masterpiece. ⭐Holy WOW!!⭐

Thank you, Katrina, for your sharing your incredible talents with the entire Madison community. Students, teachers, parents, and community members will enjoy your efforts for years to come. You have really outdone yourself.

Finally, our August Staff Spotlights wouldn’t be complete without introducing Ashley Woron!

Ashley is joining Neck River as a Special Education teacher and will be serving as our PAL teacher this year. She is looking forward to building new relationships, getting to know her students, and making a positive mark on our school community. She’s also no stranger to a challenge. Ashley has completed a full marathon and hopes to run another one someday!

Outside of school, Ashley enjoys spending time with her family, working out, reading, and finding a little time for self-care. Ashley's favorite children's book is Goodnight Moon.

We’re so excited to have Ashley joining us this year and look forward to all she’ll bring to our Neck River community!
