Monday, June 8, 2026 - WATER OUTAGE - Due to the construction, the following areas will be without water on Monday, June 8th, beginning at 8:00 A.M. and lasting approximately 6 hours.

* N. Egan Ave. from 7th St. north to the dead-end (both the west and east sides of Egan)
* NW 8th Street from Egan Ave west to the dead-end
* NW 9th from the bridge to Washington Ave.

Surrounding areas may also be affected. Please plan accordingly.

City offices will be closed on Monday, May 4th, as employees attend the funeral service honoring Kester Dahl, who dedicated 23 years of service to the City of Madison.

Thank you for your understanding as we remember and honor Kester as a co-worker, a Madison resident, a friend to many, and a loved one to those he held close.

The City of Madison line crew, along with other staff, will be working on Highland Ave south of 2nd Street as part of our continued overhead-to-underground conversion project.

This work involves removing existing overhead lines and is part of our ongoing efforts to strengthen infrastructure and improve reliability for our community.
