Due to high water levels and current river conditions, we will unfortunately no longer be able to hold the kayaking activity on Monday, June 1.

As a result, Junior Staff who had planned to participate in kayaking will no longer need to arrive at camp at 11:00 AM. Instead, please plan to arrive at Camp Higher Ground at 5:00 PM on Monday, June 1.

After checking in with your 4-H Educator and getting settled into your cabins, dinner will still be served at 6:00 PM as originally planned.

I know many of you were looking forward to kayaking. I apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding as we adjust plans to ensure everyone’s safety.

We look forward to seeing everyone at camp!

ATTENTION - Income surveys have been mailed out!

Jefferson County 4-H Club Agricultural Association, INC. (also known as the fair board) and Jefferson County have mailed out income surveys for the proposed community center improvement project at the Jefferson County 4-H Fairgrounds.

500 county residents were randomly selected and will receive a survey by mail. The survey results will help determine eligibility for potential grant funding opportunities through the Community Development Block Grant program.

If you receive one, please take a few moments to complete and return it using the enclosed postage-paid envelope. Your response is important and appreciated!
