Happy New Year! As we look forward to the start of 2025, we wanted to check in and share a new beginning for the school. As first-time entrepreneurs, we set out almost 7 years ago to create a different kind of early childhood center focused on WELLness. While we love the school that has taken shape from this idea, we have not felt as close to the name as we would like. Thus, the Well has begun the process of rebranding to Wildflowers Learning Center.

We want the children in our care to be as free as wildflowers, finding their own way, blooming at the most unexpected times and in the most unexpected ways. We simply water them, stand back, and admire their beauty. We hope this rebrand represents what we see the children doing every day: growing, learning and playing freely, and finding the beauty in life’s simplest joys.

Happy 3-year anniversary to Ms. Lia. Ms. Lia is our lead teacher in our Redwoods Classroom. Ms. Lia has 6 years of childcare experience working with 3–4-year-old children. Before becoming an early childhood educator, she attended Aveda for esthetician school and worked in that field before switching to childcare. She is extra passionate about sunscreen and the UV index and acts as our resident skin care advocate! She’s excited to advance her career in a forward-thinking preschool that challenges her and that helps move Early Childhood Education forward.

Happy 2nd Year Anniversary to Mr.Max. Max is our Maintenance Technician responsible for our building's Cleanliness. Max is a Sophomore at Memorial High School, also right-hand to his dad in everything. He is the eldest of his 4 Siblings. His favorites are Soccer and Math. His favorite Soccer team is Liverpool.

Happy 5 Year Anniversary to Ms. Kim. Ms. Kim has 15 years of experience in education. She has designed play-based programs for schools in Chicago and San Francisco, as well as consulted with companies on how to infuse play into their work day. She coordinates special events, projects and programs, and manages our digital and social media presence. She holds a BA in sociology from UW-Madison and an MA in teaching. She is also a Well parent!
