Today is the day!! Our 8th graders planting kits made in their social entrepreneurship class are ready for sale!!

Students have been hard at work this semester in their Social Entrepreneurship class, a partnership with CEOs of Tomorrow, Inc.s, Badger Rock Middle School and Rooted at Badger Rock Neighborhood Center! When you purchase products made by Badger Rock Middle School students, you are supporting our youth as they take their first step into entrepreneurship!

Students have used what they learned in their class first semester to create their products from scratch this semester! They have done everything from dreaming up their product, naming their business, creating logos, calculating expenses and profit, making and taste testing recipes, starting plants from seed and so much more!

Students practice Social Entrepreneurship in this program and choose ways to support social causes in their community with their businesses.

Our students came up with four small businesses, including:

🍕Bro's Pizza: Pizza Planting Kit
Seedings included: Roma Tomatoes, Basil, Bell Peppers
Also includes a taste-tested Homemade Pizza Recipe, Garlic Powder and Red Pepper Flakes!

🥒The Brine-bow Connection: Kool-Aid Pickle Planting Kit
Seedlings included: Cucumbers, Dill
Also includes a taste-tested Kool Aid Refrigerator Pickle Recipe, a Mason Jar with Pickling Spices and Kool-Aid Packets!

🍦Watermelon Blast: Plant-Based Ice Cream Flavors Planting Kit
Seedlings included: Mint, Watermelon, Strawberries
Also includes a taste-tested Homemade Mint Ice Cream Recipe, Wooden Ice Cream Sample Size Spoons and Sprinkles!

🌱Tony's Italian Seasoning: Italian Seasoning Blend Planting Kit
