9:35 PM ET/8:35 PM CT Sunday: Strong to severe thunderstorms are moving across southern Georgia, moving south-southwest across I-75. Damaging wind gusts and torrential rains are the main threats with the storms over the next several hours. The greatest threat will be across southern Georgia east of the Flint River and possibly into the Big Bend late tonight. Have multiple ways to receive warnings. And, if you have any damage or flooding reports, please let us know when it's safe to do so.

A Heat Advisory is in effect for the FL Panhandle & Big Bend, portions of SE Alabama and SW Georgia.

Over the coming days we'll see oppressive Feel-Like (Heat Index) temps retreat towards the coast as some drier air comes in from the north. Actual temps will still be hot, generally in the mid to upper 90s. 🥵☀️

An Excessive Heat Warning is in effect for portions of the FL Big Bend and Panhandle for Feel-Like temperatures of up to 117 degrees, a Heat Advisory elsewhere.

Prevent heat-related illness by reducing outdoor time during peak daylight hours and stay hydrated. 🥵☀️
