Once facing housing instability, Kendra now provides what she once fought for: stability, care, and community. Through safe, affordable housing and support, she has built not just a home for her five children, but a space where others feel they belong, too.

Her story is a powerful reminder that when families have stable housing, entire communities grow stronger.

🐣💛 A little extra joy is on the way this Easter!

Thank you to the Madison Police Department CORE team for connecting us with a generous community member who wanted to spread Easter joy to the youth in our programs. Because of this thoughtful donation, families will receive Easter baskets filled with sweet treats for their kids.

For families experiencing housing instability, moments like these go beyond celebration. They create a sense of normalcy, joy, and belonging for kids during a time that can otherwise feel uncertain.

We’re so grateful for the many ways our community continues to show up. 💛

Caring for curly and coily hair can be costly and time-consuming, especially when families are prioritizing housing and basic needs. Having access to the right products helps remove one more barrier and allows families to care for their hair in a way that supports confidence, self-expression, and well-being.
