The City of Madison has been notified that beginning the week of June 8, Madison Utilities will begin its Downtown Water Main Project with a full closure of College Street. After work on College Street is completed, crews will move to Church Street, where both single-lane and full road closures will occur in phases. 🥋 Exciting News! New Self-Defense & Taekwondo Programs Starting This June! 🥋

We are thrilled to introduce a brand-new, specialized fitness opportunity at the Madison Senior Center starting Monday, June 1st! If you’ve been looking to build confidence, improve your balance, and learn invaluable life skills, these classes are designed just for you.

Working with a highly trained, certified & professional instructor means you’ll get expert guidance, personalized attention, and a safe environment tailored specifically to your fitness level.

Starting June 1st - every Monday, we will offer two distinct sessions:

🔹 Senior Self-Defense
🕒 Time: 9:00 AM – 9:45 AM
💰 Cost: $40 per month

Learn practical safety techniques, situational awareness, and quick moves to keep you safe and confident.

🔹 Taekwondo
🕒 Time: 10:00 AM – 10:45 AM
💰 Cost: $40 per month

Great for core strength, flexibility, mental focus, and coordination.

Because this is a specialized program, pre-registration is required through our dual systems. Please follow these steps to secure your spot:
