Our team members are the face of our company to our patients and provide compassionate, experienced care when they need it most. YOU are what makes Ryan Brothers truly special!

We see and celebrate our team’s passionate and dedication throughout the year, but on National Employee Appreciation Day, our leadership team took a moment to express our thanks and provide a small token of our appreciation by organizing a ramen bar at our headquarters in Madison. Over the weekend crews were able to stop by in between transports and pick up a warm meal, even if it was in the middle of night!

To our team, THANK YOU for showing up for your colleagues, patients and communities! THANK YOU for making Ryan Brothers a great place to work!

EMS Career Spotlight: Brady, Dispatcher, Ryan Brothers Ambulance

Brady has been dispatching at Ryan Brothers Ambulance since April 2023, and he quickly made a name for himself. With quick thinking, lightning-fast dispatching, and a strong drive to learn more Brady has become an RBA all-star.

He enjoys being the first point of contact for people in need and helping connect them with topnotch care. Before joining RBA, Brady had no idea just how much critical thinking and problemsolving goes into keeping an ambulance service running every day—and now he gets to be part of it.

When he’s off the clock, Brady volunteers with Albany Fire/EMS and stays busy caring for his pets (including cats, a dog, a betta fish, and even a bearded dragon!).

Meet Brittany! Brittany has been with Ryan Brothers Ambulance since 2017, and her RBA journey has come full circle. She started as a dispatcher, went on to become a dispatch supervisor, and now is a manager. Her experience and leadership help support the dynamic day-to-day operations of RBA.

Brittany enjoys being part of the close-knit RBA team while also working within the larger, innovative DocGo organization. Outside of work, she’s deeply involved in the rugby community —serving as the Wisconsin Women’s Rugby Club President and a certified referee.

Thank you for everything you do, Brittany!

Meet Aria! Aria has been part of the Ryan Brothers Ambulance team since 2022! She started her journey as an EMT-B and earned her Paramedic in 2024.

One thing she loves about RBA is the work/life balance—thanks to a flexible schedule, she recently got to see one of her favorite artists, Onew, live in Chicago on a weeknight without even having to use time off.

But if Aria had to pick a favorite part of the job, it would be the people. She’s built friendships with coworkers she enjoys spending time with both on and off shift—and that sense of teamwork means a lot to her.

Thanks for being part of the RBA team, Aria!

It is with profound sadness that we share the news of the passing of our Operations Manager, Michael Adams, following a long and courageous battle with colorectal cancer.

Michael was a deeply respected leader, colleague, and friend. Throughout his time at Ryan Brothers Ambulance, he exemplified dedication, professionalism, and compassion—not only in his work, but in the way he supported and cared for those around him. His commitment to our mission and to this organization never wavered, even as he faced his illness with remarkable strength, dignity, and grace.

Michael’s impact on our operations, our culture, and on each of us personally cannot be overstated. He leaves behind a legacy of leadership and service that will continue to guide us, and he will be profoundly missed.

We extend our deepest condolences to Michael’s family, friends, and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.

Michael’s funeral will be held at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Evansville, Wisconsin, on Sunday, February 8, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., with a memorial service at 1:00 p.m.

In addition, a GoFundMe has been established to help secure a future for Michael’s two young children. If you are able and wish to contribute: https://gofund.pulse.ly/2nfxxci8yz

Proud of our Senior Director of Operations Tom Pasch for testifying before the Wisconsin State Senate in support a bill seeking more appropriate reimbursement from non-governmental payers for all qualified, medically necessary emergency ambulance transports.

In his role on the executive board of the Professional Ambulance Association of Wisconsin (PAAW), he lent his support to Wisconsin Senate Bill 711 that will help promote sustainability for EMS as an essential medical service to our communities.

Way to go, Tom!
