A Special Note from the 2024/2025 PTO Presidents-

Dear Kings Road School Community,
As we wrap up our time serving as PTO Presidents, we want to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you. We are so proud of all that we've accomplished together.

To our dedicated volunteers — thank you for showing up time and again, lending your hands, hearts, and time. Whether you chaired a committee, helped at an event, or answered a last-minute call for support, your contributions made all the difference.

To our amazing teachers, staff & school administration — thank you for partnering with us, welcoming our ideas, and always putting students first. Your passion and commitment inspire us every day.

And finally, to our incredible families — thank you for trusting us, encouraging us, and being an active part of this vibrant school community. Your involvement is what makes Kings Road School so special.

Though our roles as PTO Presidents are coming to an end, we remain committed members of this school community, cheering on the next group of leaders. We can’t wait to see where you take us next.

These beautiful bouquets were made using the flowers brought in by students to honor Mrs. Moran and her many years of care and dedication to the children of KRS. Words cannot describe how much Mrs. Moran will be missed by our school community. Her nurturing presence and positive attitude, paired with her uncanny ability to sense when kids are “not themselves” made her the beloved person we could all trust to have our children’s backs. For these, and for so many other reasons, we THANK YOU, MRS. MORAN! Please enjoy your retirement to the fullest, you deserve all the best! ❤️❤️❤️

Helpful Tips for Field Day
🧢 Before Field Day
Send your child in comfortable, weather appropriate clothes.
Sneakers are a must — no sandals or flip-flops.
Apply sunscreen at home in the morning.
Send a reusable, labeled water bottle.
Pack a hat to help protect from the sun.
Label all of your child’s belongings! Hats, bottles, etc.

🍎 Food
Make sure your child eats a good breakfast to fuel them for the day.

😄 Mindset & Encouragement
Talk about having fun, not winning.
Emphasize participation & teamwork.
Encourage kindness & sportsmanship. Cheer for others, take turns, and be a good teammate.
Positive Vibes Only: A quick pep talk and a smile go a long way!

**ICE POPS- Ice Pops will be provided on field day for the children. If your child has a food allergy OR you do not want your child to have the ice pop- please send an email to their teacher with written permission.**

Due to weather, KRS Field Day has been rescheduled to Tuesday, June 3rd. Please check your email from the KRS PTO for all the new details!

**If you were signed up to volunteer for either shifts, please review the SIGN UP GENIUS (link is in the email) and confirm your availability.** If you are unable to participate on Tuesday, please remove yourself from the signup genius ASAP so we can ensure that we have enough volunteers. We understand that Tuesday can be more challenging and appreciate everyone who is able to volunteer!

Get Strong and Give Back—CrossFit 377 is teaming up with Kings Road School for an epic Spring Fundraiser!

Here’s how you can make a difference:
For every new adult and new or returning child who registers, CrossFit 377 will donate a portion of the registration back to the KRS PTO!

What Counts Toward the Fundraiser?
Adults: Register for any Punchcard.*
(Adult classes held daily!)
Children: Sign up for our Summer Mini Camps.*

Mini Camp Dates:
July 7–11, 2025
August 4–8, 2025

Important:
After you register, send a quick email to [email protected] with the subject line: KRS ROCKS! to make sure your registration counts toward the fundraiser!
