As we wrap up the week, we want to take a moment to recognize and thank our true first responders—our dispatchers.

They may not always be seen, but they are the calm voice in chaos, the steady hand behind every call, and a critical link in every response. Their work saves lives, supports our officers, and keeps our communities safe every single day.

Thank you to all of our incredible dispatchers—we appreciate everything you do!

This has been a busy week for emergency services, and we want to recognize our partners at Dane County 911 and dispatch centers throughout Dane County for all of their hard work. These men and women are often the first person to receive a call for help and play a critical role in protecting public safety. We thank them for all they do!

April 12-18 is National Telecommunicators Week.

They’re the voice behind the call.
The heroes behind the headset.
The first people helping you during an emergency.

911 dispatchers are amazing humans who do amazing work.

They dispatch our team...
They keep responders informed as a call develops...
And they can provide you with life-saving instructions over the phone until we arrive.

Thank you Dane County 911 for all that you do!

Happy National Telecommunicators Week!
