As a proud farm boy myself, I know that farming comes with unique pressures. Too many rural families still face barriers to getting help.

Mental Health Awareness Month may be ending, but the conversation cannot stop, especially for rural Wisconsinites. As we begin June Dairy Month, let’s remember that Wisconsin farmers who feed communities across the world also need & deserve access to quality mental health care.

I appreciate Spectrum News 1 Wisconsin covering this important topic with me:

Pfaff also addressed who’s stepping up to help them overcome the stigmas tied to it and seek out the help they need.

Go Wildcats!

Thank you to Senator Brad Pfaff for visiting our 4th graders this afternoon! Senator Pfaff talked with students about the branches of government, Wisconsin history, and answered many thoughtful questions from our students. We appreciate him taking the time to connect with our Wildcats and help bring learning to life!

Today, I encourage you to take a moment to remember what Memorial Day is all about.

Memorial Day is a day to remember and honor U.S. military members who made the ultimate sacrifice defending our country and the freedom we enjoy today.

Thank you to the La Crosse County ADRC for continuing to be such a valuable resource in our community. The ADRC hosted a free community picnic earlier this week to both honor and connect seniors & caregivers with local resources.

Where Leadership Meets Community Action.

Wisconsin State Senator Brad Pfaff of District 32 says, “From supporting small business owners and people pursuing a degree to families struggling to put food on the table or secure stable housing, Couleecap, Inc. has done incredible work in the Driftless Region. The dedicated staff at Couleecap know this community well and connect hardworking people with opportunities not just to survive but to thrive.”

Thank you Senator Brad Pfaff for supporting Community Action!

The lifesaving, vital work of EMS providers is so critically important. Especially in rural areas, EMS staff and volunteers are the first point of contact for many experiencing a medical emergency.

A special thank you to Tri-State Ambulance/Gundersen Ambulance and all of western Wisconsin's EMS providers during National EMS Week (May 17-23).

I think there may be a few future state senators in this bunch!

I had a great time visiting Dekker's class at St. Charles School and Parish. In March, Dekker wrote me a letter asking if I would be his class's "Mystery Reader." He also asked about my role as a state senator and which classes & experiences best prepared me for this job.

THREE local community projects will receive funding through Wisconsin's non-state grant program:
1️⃣ Scenic Bluffs Community Health Centers – REACH Center Expansion
2️⃣ Boys & Girls Club of Greater La Crosse - Workforce Readiness Project
3️⃣ Town of Shelby (La Crosse County) – Fire Station Relocation & Upgrades

As a member of the Wisconsin Building Commission, I was proud to support these projects in the Driftless Region. The local upgrades and construction, made possible in part by this grant program, will make our community healthier, safer, and more career-ready.

Congratulations to all students walking across the stage this month👩‍🎓 I was honored to deliver remarks at Viterbo University's 2026 Spring Commencement ceremony last weekend. I emphasized the importance of human interaction and soft skills, especially in the age of AI.

"AI cannot replace human understanding, empathy, judgment, or character. It cannot build trust, inspire a team, or strengthen a community. Those human qualities, how we treat one another, how we listen, and how we lead, will always matter."

You can read my entire remarks here:https://legis.wisconsin.gov/senate/32/pfaff/media/tx4pw443/sen-pfaff-column-sen-pfaffs-letter-to-graduates.pdf
