I was honored times infinity yesterday to be sworn in for a full two-year term as Alder of District 6. And a big welcome to Common Council leadership for Sabrina Madison, elected as council President and Re-Elect Carmella Glenn for District 18 elected as council Vice-President. I’ve gotten to know these two amazing women better over the last year and am truly looking forward to the next year under their leadership!

Vote Tuesday! Though I’m the only candidate running for District 6, I hope I can earn your vote for two more years as alder!

I’ve also endorsed Heidi Weigleitner for Dane County Board District 2 (Re-elect Heidi Wegleitner for Dane County Supervisor D2) and Ben Jones for Dane County Judge Branch 1 (Judge Ben Jones for Dane Co. Circuit Court). And of course I recommend Chris Taylor (Chris For Justice) for Wisconsin’s Supreme Court!

When you’re running for re-election without an opponent, you gotta put that “extra” time into supporting other candidates in contested races. That’s why I was out today helping with a lit drop for Re-elect Heidi Wegleitner for Dane County Supervisor D2.

Tuesday is the Spring Primary Election in Wisconsin. It’s a small but important ballot. If you live in Dane County, please vote for Judge Ben Jones for Dane Co. Circuit Court for Dane Co. Circuit Court. I’ve known Ben for twentyish years since we worked together at The Badger Herald. He was appointed to the open seat (when Judge Susan Crawford was promoted to the State Supreme Court) by Governor Tony Evers and deserves re-election.

If you live in NE Madison, please vote for County Supervisor Tommy Rylander (District 12). I’ve served with him on the City-County Homeless Issues Committee and I’d like to keep that partnership going!
