I’m looking forward to attending the 10th Annual Night Out at McGovern Park and connecting with neighbors, community organizations, and local leaders tomorrow evening.

Events like this are a great reminder of the strength of our community and the importance of bringing people together in a positive environment. I hope to see you all from across the district there as we celebrate the start of summer, enjoy family-friendly activities, and learn more about the resources available in our community.

This year’s theme, “What freedom looks like, yesterday, today, and tomorrow,” honors the history, resilience, and achievements of Black communities in Wisconsin. Our featured keynote speaker Camden Hargrove, Alder for the City of Menomonie and the first Black, openly trans man elected to public office in Wisconsin.
