We had a great time at the Watonwan County Fair!

The Madelia Health Emergency Medical Service helped at the Watonwan County Fire and EMS booth last night at the Watonwan County Fair. If you have considered being a part of your local FIRE or EMS agencies...now is a good time to explore it further. Stop by the booth located just north of the Sertoma Taco Stand. If you can't make it to the fair, call your local city office or the Watonwan County Emergency Management Office 507.375.3121. Have a great time at the fair!

Kudos to Sarah Jelokov - the Madelia Health caregiver of the month!

Congratulations to Sarah Jelokov for being recognized as the June Caregiver of the Month! Sarah has been on the Madelia Health team for 2 years. She was recognized for coming in and helping out Hospital Nursing on multiple occasions, taking extra transfers for EMS, and her willingness to always help!

Join Madelia Elementary Madelia Community Based Collaborative - MCBC Watonwan County Public Health, Madelia Health EMS, and MORE for a fun night of games, learning, and resource gathering on Thursday March 21st at the elementary school from 5 - 7pm. Prizes, book raffles, and goodies await! There will be a Paper Pie (formerly Usborne) book fair this night only. Book sales will benefit the school library and YOURS. English and Spanish titles available. Come join MSU, Mankato nursing students as we learn about mental health resources we have in our community, importance of good sleep to improve performance at school and home, healthy snack options, rethinking sugar filled drinks, recognizing and managing our emotions, stranger danger, calling 911, and MORE!
