REPOST: The Library will open again this morning at 10am.

We have been informed by the work crew that they will not be working today on the walkway and the library will be able to open. HOWEVER- the access to the building is gravel and is not tarred so please EXERCISE CAUTION! Thank you.

The library will remain closed on Wendesday, September 9 as construction continues. We have not received a date as to when the front entrance will be safe again. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Please dont worry about overdues, no one will be penalized for items due on a date when the library is closed.

Just a reminder….The library and the Used Book Sale are CLOSED today. The Library will be closed until at least Tuesday due to the construction on the parking lot and sidewalk.

ATTENTION: FYI

We have been informed by the construction company that as work continues on the new parking lot (possibly) sometime today through Tuesday the library's front walkway will be dug up, making it too dangerous for patrons. We are asking our patrons to be aware that when it reaches that point the building will be closed to the public. There will also not be access through the side door, because if the building is open it must remain accessible for everyone and the only way up to the first floor is via a staircase.

We apologize for the inconvenience.

Our crafty little get-together group has a new name… Stitches With Friends ❤️🧶🪡

I wanted something that felt welcoming to everyone, because this group isn’t just for knitters and crocheters. If you cross stitch, embroider, crochet, knit, or enjoy another handcraft, come join us!

Bring your current project, pull up a chair, and enjoy some stitching, chatting, and good company.

Our first Stitches With Friends gathering is this Thursday, September 3rd from 4:30–6:30 PM at the Madawaska Public Library.

A HUGE thank you to the Madawaska Public Library for allowing us to use their room for our group!

🧶 Every other Thursday (bi-weekly)

Bring whatever project you’re working on and come spend a couple of hours visiting, crafting, sharing ideas and enjoying some good company! ❤️

Beginners are absolutely welcome! Whether you’re just learning or you’ve been crafting for years, we’d love to have you.

And it’s not just for knitters and crocheters! 🧶 If you cross stitch, embroider, or enjoy another handcraft, bring your project along — you are absolutely welcome too! 🪡❤️
