Springdale’s Beta Club was recognized at Thursdays Bibb County School District’s School Board Meeting. For yet another year Springdale Elementary Named 2025-2026 National Beta School of Merit!. The school earned this recognition by offering National Beta to all eligible grades on their campus.

The National Beta School of Merit award is given to honor a club’s dedication and commitment to academic excellence. To achieve this prestigious honor, a school must include members from all eligible grade levels in their Beta club.

We extend a BIG THANK YOU to Beta Advisors Tyler Lewis and Madolyn Hicks and to all of our hardworking students and the families who support them!

Mrs. WIlliamson’s Second Grade World Changers have already earned their August PBIS Reward! They have fully accessorized their class pet, Bruno, and have received so many compliments from teachers around the building for being 5 Star Ready. Students filled out an application, signed a contract, and are officially desk pet owners! They even used “Official Pencils” to practice the importance of filling out applications and the seriousness of contracts. So proud of them for learning and following expectations so quickly!! If you see a World Changer, be sure to ask them about their desk pet! 🌈🌎🩷🐶 They also got a surprise visit from Superintendents Dr. Dan Sims and Dr. Ethel Lett Friday!
