Noxubee County Sheriff Tedrick Liddell would like to make citizens aware of potential inclement weather expected over the coming days. Weather conditions may continue through the weekend and could extend into Monday and Tuesday, depending on how the system moves.

Please understand that high call volumes are expected, and hazardous road conditions may delay response times. We ask for your patience as our dispatchers, deputies, and first responders work diligently to serve our community.

City and County Law Enforcement WILL remain available to respond to emergency calls throughout this period.

We strongly encourage all residents to:

-Stay off the roads if weather conditions worsen

-Check on elderly neighbors, family members, and those who may be vulnerable

-Prepare now by securing necessities and staying informed

-Do your part as responsible citizens to help keep yourself and others safe

If travel is not necessary, please stay home. Your cooperation helps keep first responders safe and allows us to assist those in critical need.
