All Solid Waste facilities will be closed Monday May 25th 2026 in observance of Memorial Day. We will reopen Tuesday the 26th at normal operating hours.

Holly Springs and Nantahala Recycle centers will remain closed tomorrow 2/3/26. Otto Recycling Center and Highlands Transfer station will tentatively open at 10am. All other locations will run on normal operating hours.

All Franklin facilities will be on a delayed schedule tomorrow 2/2/26. With the possibility of all day closures. The Highlands Transfer Station, Buck Creek, Scaly and Nantahala Recycling Centers will be closed. Please check back here for updates tomorrow morning.
