I would like to begin by expressing my heartfelt appreciation to everyone who stood by me. I extend my warmest congratulations to Carlos Felton on his successful campaign for Macon County Sheriff. Although I am naturally disappointed, I acknowledge that a higher power has greater plans in store, and I humbly respect that decision. Macon County will forever be my home, and I treasure the community. I’m asking everyone to unite and rally behind Sheriff Felton. Our community needs harmony and I will extend my unwavering support to help him in every way possible. Love you all and God bless.

A Helping Hand...

Today is the last day before Election Day in Macon County, and I was thinking last night about Helping Hands. In life, we all are presented with opportunities to help one another.

I have dedicated my hands to helping my wife for thirty four years now. I have also had the opportunity to dedicate my hands to truly helping others as a full time law enforcement officer for over a decade.

Here's the ironic thing about life though...sometimes the one that has dedicated his life to being a helper sometimes needs help himself.

Macon Countians, I sincerely and humbly ask for your Helping Hands tomorrow on Election Day. Your hands can knock a door, make a phone call to a friend, drive a voter to the poll, clasp together in a small prayer for this campaign, and above all else, I need your hands to go and cast a vote tomorrow. God bless each and every one of you.

Here we go again, another opportunity to rise above. I've recently been made aware that someone is once again attempting to tarnish my character. Let me start by sharing a valuable lesson from early in my business career. I had an accountant who didn't quite meet expectations, but I took swift action, replaced them with a highly competent one, and made things right. I can asure you my businesses have never filed bankruptcy, as claimed. I'm proud to say that l've always been proactive in addressing any issues.
Now, l'm being accused of having unresolved liens with multiple companies, including John Deere and Mid South Bank. I do not have any liens. I find it almost amusing, considering I recently purchased a new John Deere tractor and currently using Mid South Bank. Which im in good standing with all my creditors. It's essential to remember that those readily available online reports might not always provide accurate information. When someone goes to great lengths to hinder progress, it's natural to wonder why. I've always been transparent and open, so please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions. What I can confirm is that Macon County is my home, and I'm deeply committed to serving our citizens with dedication and pride, regardless of their opinions about me. As the Sheriff of Macon County, I'm honored to serve everyone with integrity.

As a sheriff, it is essential to maintain relationships with fellow Georgia sheriffs and state agencies. Throughout my law enforcement career, I have cultivated personal friendships with most sheriffs from counties adjacent to Macon County. These established relationships will significantly enhance our ability to serve and protect Macon County.
