Who We Are

In a bit of a scramble to expand Chapters for the Women Marines Association (WMA) in anticipation of the Centennial Celebration in 2018, celebrating 100 years from the day Opha Mae Johnson signed her name on the dotted line, we gathered Women Marines and Friends in the eight counties of Western New York. We attended the Marine Corps League Annual Convention right here in Buffalo, New York where we were graciously honoured by the honourable men of our Corps, and we are particularly proud of our very own Toni Beltrano, who is a Pedigreed Devil Dog. We attended the Centennial Event in DC and now our hope is to revitalize old VFW and Legion Posts to engage returning Veterans to once again gain the support of fellow Veterans, share stories and avoid the tragedy of hopelessness that grips them. Join us and consider contributing to this important work!
