The Macomb Township Recreation Center opened its doors on July 19, 2004. This state of the art 90,000 square foot facility offers 2 pools (with water slide, a lazy river and other water features), 2 gymnasiums, 2 aerobics room, cardiovascular equipment machines, free weights area, figure eight running track, soft play indoor playscape, child watch room, games room, meeting space and 2 party rooms.

The Recreation Center also offers personal training, numerous free family fun events every year and various senior activities.

We are two weeks away from our kick off of the Music in the Park summer concert series and A250 celebration! 🎆🎶

Come on out to Macomb Corners Park for live music and entertainment from The Gobies, Bounce About inflatable Kids Zone, 1st Michigan Colonial Fife & Drum Corps, a fireworks show and so much more!!!

This FREE event will take place Thursday, June 25 at 7:00 PM. Fireworks will begin at 9:30 PM.

Enjoy a relaxing and creative evening at Paint Night Out!🎨🖌️🖼️

This fun, social class is perfect for anyone looking to unwind, try something new, and create their own artwork, no experience needed. Each monthly session will feature a different themed painting and introduce easy-to-follow techniques using watercolor, acrylic paints, and a touch of mixed media.

Saveria will guide participants step-by-step through the project while encouraging everyone to add their own creative style. Whether you're looking for a night out with friends, a creative break during the week, or simply want to explore painting, this class offers a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere.

Material Fee: $7 per participant, payable to the instructor at class. All materials are provided, and you’ll leave with a completed painting to take home and enjoy.

This FREE event will be held on Saturday, June 13, from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Seneca Middle School.

Once again this year, we will be encouraging participant to allow for a quieter hour from 10:00am until 11:00am for those with sensory sensitivities. We ask that you please try to refrain from honking truck horns during this hour

The Macomb Township Senior Center has added another day trip!

Enjoy four hours of free time for the Art Far and all Downtown Plymouth has to offer! A signature Michigan event, Art in The Park, now in its 44th year will welcome over 400 artists from around the U.S. offering paintings, sculpture, ceramics, jewelry, fiber, glass, woodwork, photography, folk art and much more. Entertainment and cuisine will complement the art exhibitors, creating a sensory filled weekend experience. Be a part of the tradition... join us at Michigan’s 2nd largest art fair for a weekend long celebration of art, food, and fun! Transportation included. Please arrive 15 minutes early.
