BOOK IT! Summer of Stories is back for another fun-filled, nostalgic summer of reading adventures and pizza prizes!

Our summer program officially begins TODAY, June 1 and runs through August 31 for children in PreK–6th grade nationwide.

✨ The first official reward claim period opens July 1!

Parents, here are a few important reminders:

📅 Reading days must be marked on the calendar inside the BOOK IT! App. If you miss a day, you’re able to go back up to 7 days.
📖 Children must read at least 15 days within the month, and parents must track those reading days in the app calendar to qualify for their pizza reward.

If you experience any issues, please contact us before the end of the month using the Contact Support page located in the app menu or on our website so we can assist you in time.

What an incredible journey! Today, our entire Ralston community officially crossed the finish line of our One School, One Book program. For the past few weeks, every student, teacher, and family member has been reading the miraculous true story of Finding Gobi—and today, we celebrated our shared achievement with an epic wrap-up event! We had some very special guests visit Ralston. We were absolutely thrilled to welcome international bestselling author and ultra-marathon runner, Dion Leonard—and his world-famous, four-legged best friend, Gobi!

Dion shared the incredible, heartwarming true story of his book Finding Gobi, completely capturing the hearts of our students. From our youngest readers enjoying the picture book to our older students diving into the chapter book, everyone was on the edge of their seats. They loved hearing about how a little stray dog ran 80 miles alongside Dion across a grueling desert in China, and the dramatic global search to bring her home safely.

A huge thank you to Dion Leonard, Gobi, Mrs. Schmidt and our Ralston PTO for bringing this unforgettable literary adventure to our school!

Owen was the only student at Ralston to beat Mr. Rollinson during the Huskie Hustle 5K race by 1 second. He was soo pumped to share this morning!!! Way to go, Owen!
