This summer, the Macedonia Police Department - Ohio is rewarding kids for making safe choices.

When officers spot children doing the right thing — like wearing a helmet while riding a bike or scooter — they may receive a Safety Achievement Award.

The award can be redeemed for a free Kids Combo Meal at Raising Cane’s or a free single scoop of frozen custard at Culver’s through our Community Policing Safety Recognition Program.

A special thank you to Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers Cane's and Culver's for continuing to partner with us to encourage safe habits throughout our community.

☀️📚 School’s Out for Summer! 🎉

What an incredible year it has been at Ledgeview Elementary School! As the school year comes to a close, students celebrated with a variety of fun end-of-year activities, creating lasting memories with friends, teachers, and staff.

From games and outdoor activities to special classroom celebrations, it was a great way to wrap up another successful year of learning and growth. The smiles, laughter, and excitement throughout the building were a reminder of what makes the Ledgeview community so special.

On behalf of the Macedonia Police Department and our School Resource Officers, we wish all of our students, families, teachers, and staff a safe, fun, and relaxing summer break. We can’t wait to see everyone back in the fall!

Today and always, the Macedonia Police Department honors fallen Officer Gary Paster, EOW 5/29/1986.

We will never forget his service, sacrifice, and dedication to our community.

It was an honor once again for the Macedonia Police Department to participate in the VFW Memorial Day Parade. Today we remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country and our freedoms. Thank you to everyone who came out to support and help keep this tradition alive. 🇺🇸
