Storytime at Maben Public Library! The children worked puzzles, listened to a story, and made lots of interesting shapes with Play-Doh. Come join us next Friday at 10 am.

Art! We did leaf tracing, then rubbing with crayons, colored shapes and designs, and water colored our leaves. Come join us each Tuesday at 3:00!

Lego play turned into air powered cars. We had a donation and I thought these would be fun to try. They kind of sort of worked. lol But they had fun making them. We will be back to Lego building next Monday at 3:00!

Storytime! "I'm Like You, You're Like Me" was our book that we read today. It tells of things we can do together and how we are alike and different. Some of things were, we could live on the same street, have the same name, same hair and eye color or different. It also talked about being friends and being nice to each other no matter our differences. The children then filled out an All About Me sheet and decorated a person to look like themself. They also used paint sticks to draw a picture of their choice. We will read a book and do a craft or art and lots of other things. Today they also played with play-doh, puzzles, building, and rice center! Come join us each Friday at 10:00 for story time.

Steam! One lone boy but he made a web shooter with the 3D writing pen. He has a very good imagination. He also built something with the robots in motion! We have STEAM each Thursday at 3:00! Come join us and bring a friend.

ART!!! We did salt painting today. The children drew pictures, sprinkled salt on it, and then used pipettes and liquid watercolor to add color. They enjoyed the process although I'm not sure what the pictures were except I did see a donut! Come join us each Thursday at 3:00!

Lego Time! We had a few come but I'm not sure who enjoyed building more but I think it was the adults! Come join us and bring a friend each Monday at 3:00!

Today we read "Sea Squares." This book has lots of ocean animals and counting. We painted bubble wrap blue for our ocean and then they painted different ocean animals with different colors, starfish, sea snake, jellyfish, etc. After that we ate goldfish, played in the water center and play-doh! Come join us each Friday at 10:00.
