Congratulations to Court Security Officer Erich Meisner! Today, he officially graduated from the New York State Basic Course for Peace Officers in Onondaga County. This was a 6 week intensive training course which included 40 hours of Defensive Tactics and 21 hours of Crisis Intervention Training. Now he is a certified NYS Peace Officer! Congratulations Officer Meisner!

Last Thursday, May 28th, our Office held its 3rd annual Awards Ceremony!
It was an evening dedicated to recognizing some of the outstanding individuals whose hard work, dedication, and commitment help make the Office what it is today. We were honored to be joined by family, friends, retirees, county officials, and community members who came out to celebrate and support our employees.
To every member of our Office - thank you for the work you do each and every day to serve and protect Wayne County. Your efforts are appreciated, and we are proud to recognize your contributions.
A special thank you goes to Kayla Eberhardt for beautifully capturing the memories of the evening through her photography!

Again, we want to inform you on another college student that is working his summer internship with Southwestern Advantage, selling educational books door-to-door. William is a college student from South Dakota State University. He checked in with us today and has completed all necessary requirements with the Villages of Clyde and Savannah to obtain a business license. He has proper identification and drives a blue Honda Pilot with a South Dakota license plate. To ease any worries, if you do get a knock on the door from him, know that he is who he claims to be!
