This week, our Math Department hosted their Math Awards Luncheon to recognize students who’ve gone above and beyond—whether by mastering the material or making big improvements! 🥇📈

This entire event is made possible thanks to our math teachers who donate and collect recyclables all year long to sponsor it. Talk about dedication! ♻️👏

“I got a Golden Ticket!” At our SBAC Awareness Rally, seniors who crushed last year’s SBAC with a 3 or 4 were awarded a Golden Ticket — meaning one or even TWO extra graduation seats for abuelo, abuela, or anyone special!

AND that’s not all — they’re also scoring a special medal to rock at graduation!
Juniors — you’re up next! Bring the energy, do your best, and you could be rocking a medal and holding that Golden Ticket next year too!

Some of our FHS students had the incredible opportunity to attend the AI Show in San Diego this past weekend. They connected with industry leaders, interviewed top ed tech innovators, and explored the latest advancements in artificial intelligence and its impact on education. The event featured hands-on workshops, live demonstrations, and inspiring keynotes that broadened their horizons and sparked new ideas about the future of learning. We are so proud to see our Falcons leading the way and representing Firebaugh at such an inspiring event!

Open House turned Falcon Square into a full-on celebration of student talent, school spirit, and community pride! From cheer, dance, and band to Lotería and club-run food booths—it was a true showcase of the amazing things happening every day at FHS.

🎉 Celebrating Excellence! 🎓

Last week, we honored our incredible students at the AP/IB Awards Ceremony! 🏅 Students who passed their AP exams last year with a score of 3, 4, or 5 received medals, recognizing their hard work and achievement. IB students were also celebrated with certificates for their dedication and success in the program.

Last month, FHS celebrated Black History Month with a variety of events honoring the achievements, history, and culture of the Black community. During lunchtime, students enjoyed interactive activities, music, and performances that highlighted Black excellence and contributions. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make it a meaningful celebration!
