Fresh pavement is down on Beech Rd!

Our Streets Maintenance crew has been hard at work over the past few weeks completing the grinding and asphalt overlay of Beech Rd. This marks the first of many in-house street paving projects planned for 2026 using the City of Lynnwood's recently purchased paving machine.

The completed project included paving approximately 1,500 linear feet of roadway, covering a 24-foot-wide section of Beech Rd. In total, our crew placed 663 tons of asphalt across more than 36,000 square feet of roadway, creating a smoother and safer driving surface for residents and visitors.

This project is just the beginning - Keep an eye out for upcoming paving work including portions of Maple Rd and Spruce Way!

The City of Lynnwood appreciates your patience, cooperation, and support while these important improvements were completed. Together, we're investing in safer, smoother roads for our community.
