We unfortunately experienced website issues from Wednesday through this weekend, which affected registration for some of our programs.

Good news, registration is back up and the registration issues have been resolved! 🎉

Lynnfield Rec is heading to Screamfest at Canobie Lake Park on Friday, October 23, 2026! Get ready for a night filled with thrills, chills, scares, and plenty of fun with your friends! 😱🎢

Back at LMS by 10:00 PM

🎟️ YOUR TRIP INCLUDES
• Admission to Screamfest
• Transportation to and from Canobie Lake Park
• Supervision throughout the event

• Parents will not be permitted to pick up students at the park.
• No refunds unless Lynnfield Recreation is able to fill your spot.
• A minimum of 40 students is required for the trip to run. If we do not reach 40 registrations, the trip may be canceled.

This Junior Golf Program focuses on fun, improvement, and sportsmanship while helping young golfers learn the game from our PGA Professional Staff.

Junior golfers will:
• Receive high-quality instruction from PGA Professionals
• Learn and improve their golf skills
• Play games in a fun team environment
• Learn sportsmanship, integrity, patience, and respect
• Play two-person scramble-style games

• Golfers need their own clubs, balls, and tees

School gets out early, so why not spend your afternoon with Lynnfield Rec? We’re bringing back our popular Middle School Early Release Trips, giving students a fun way to spend their half days with friends while parents know they’re supervised and having a great time.

🚌 FIRST TRIP: NOVA TRAMPOLINE PARK!

⏰ 11:00 AM–2:00 PM
📍 NOVA Trampoline Park
🏀 Meet at the outdoor basketball court at Lynnfield Middle School
🏫 Pick-up: Lynnfield Middle School

🍕 REGISTRATION INCLUDES:
• Transportation
• Lynnfield Rec staff supervision
• NOVA Trampoline Park admission
• Pizza

Students will meet Lynnfield Rec staff at the outdoor basketball court after school. The bus will leave around 11:10 AM and return to Lynnfield Middle School at 2:00 PM.

Students will step into the role of an NFL general manager and build their ultimate fantasy football team.

Thank you for the great response to our Lynnfield Ladies Golf Clinics!

Wednesday’s session (9/16-10/7) is now SOLD OUT, and Friday’s session (9/18-10/9) has only a few spaces remaining.

Get ready to swing into summer with our Lynnfield Ladies Golf Clinics, the perfect blend of fun, learning, and fresh air! Designed for beginner to intermediate golfers ages 18+, these group clinics are a great way to sharpen your skills in a relaxed, supportive environment.

Here’s what’s in store each week:

Week 1: Putting Fundamentals

Week 2: Chipping Fundamentals

Week 3: Iron Fundamentals

Week 4: Driver Fundamentals

Each session wraps up with 15 minutes of on-course play, where you’ll put your new skills to the test while learning about course management and proper golf etiquette.

What to Bring:
• Your own golf clubs
• Golf balls

Sharpen your public speaking skills, build confidence, and learn how to think on your feet with Debate Club led by Mr. Potter!

Students will:
• Practice structured arguments and persuasive speaking
• Build confidence when speaking in front of others
• Learn teamwork and respectful debate
• Explore fun, age-appropriate topics
• Develop critical thinking skills
• Share ideas and explore different points of view
